چکیده
Fowl cholera has caused significant economic losses in many poultry producing countries worldwide. In Malaysia, outbreaks of fowl are frequently reported and encountered different types productions. The objective this study was to characterise 13 avian Pasteurella multocida, isolated from Central Peninsular Malaysia the period between 2000 2018. isolates were subjected multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for capsular serotyping, disc diffusion method antimicrobial susceptibility profiles, molecular genotyping using pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) multilocus sequence typing (MLST). serotyping showed all multocida belonging serotype A. several multidrug resistance strains among P. isolates. All resistant erythromycin (100%), streptomycin (68%), tetracycline (37%), enrofloxacin florfenicol (23%), penicillin G (14%), gentamicin amoxicillin (14%). PFGE analysis clustered into three clones. Group A included with a similarity 87% year 2000, 2013, Three identified MLST namely, ST129, ST231, ST355. ST355 assigned first time Rural Industries Research Development Corporation (RIRDC) database. Besides, ST129 been India, China, Sri Lanka, which highlights possibility transmission Asian countries. This provides an insight epidemiological information that causes central region Malaysia.

Pasteurella multocida is a gram-negative, opportunistic pathogen and the common inhabitant of the upper respiratory tract of domesticated and wild animal species. It is a causative agent of numerous economically important diseases worldwide, such as enzootic bronchopneumonia in ruminants and haemorrhagic septicemia in cattle and buffalo. The present study was undertaken to determine the prevale...

Introduction: Calf diarrhea is one of the significant problems in dairy farms associated with treatment costs and reduced livestock production. Salmonellae are among the most common and the major causative agents of diarrhea in calves and humans. The present study was carried out to isolate and identify Salmonella in fecal samples of calves in industrial dairy farms of Hamedan and to determine ...
متن کاملMolecular Characterisation of Pasteurella Multocida Strains Isolated from Calves by Pulsed-field Gel Electrophoresis
Seventy-two Pasteurella multocida strains collected from calves with bronchopneumonia were examined. An analysis of the polymorphism of DNA restrictive fragments with the use of the pulsed-field gel electrophoresis technique of contour-clamped homogeneous electric field electrophoresis was made. Philogenetic relatedness among the examined strains was calculated by the unweighted pair-group meth...
